Must and can't

You can use must to say that you believe something is certain.

당신이 확실하게 믿고 있는 것에 대하여 말할때 must를 사용.

• You've been travelling all day. You must be tired.
  당신은 하루종일 여행을 해왔다. 당신은 피곤할 것이다.
  (Travelling is tiring and you've been travelling all day, so you must be tired.)
  (여행은 지치게 하고 그걸 하루종일 했다. 그래서 피곤할 것이다.)
• Joe is a hard worker. Joe? You must be joking. He doesn't do anything.
  조는 일중독이다. 조? 너 농담하는 거지? 그는 아무것도 안한다.
• Louise must get very bored in her job. She does the same thing every day.

You can use can't to say that you believe something is not possible

당신은 가능성이 없다고 믿는것에 대하여 can't를 사용할 수 있다.

• You've just had lunch. You can't be hungry already.

  (People are not normally hungry just after eating a meal.

For the past we use must have (done) and can't have (done).

과거에 사용할때는 mush have (done) 그리고 can't have (done)을 사용.

Martin and Lucy are standing at the door of their friend's house.

마틴과 루시는 그들의 친구집에 서있는 중이다.

They have rung the doorbell twice, but nobody has answered.

그들은 도어벨을 두번 눌렀지만 아무도 대답하지 않았다.

Lucy says: They must have gone out.

You can use couldn't have instead of can't have.
당신은 can't have대신에 couldn't have도 사용 가능.
